How to use opinion topics

  • Divide class into small groups. They pick up one opinion at a time (from face down cards) and discuss each for a few minutes.
  • Or: Same as above, but when the opinion is first read out, each student puts a card in front of them (strongly agree, agree, not sure, disagree, strongly disagree.) As opinion is discussed, students are free to change the card in front of them to indicate how they are feeling.
